Carmen Piqué-Noguera

Carmen Piqué-Noguera received her PhD in English Studies from the Universitat de València (Spain), where she is currently a lecturer in English and Chinese at the Faculty of Philology, Translation and Communication and at the Confucius Institute. Her research interests focus on discourse analysis (EAP and ESP), language variation in academic and professional genres, interpersonal communication (metadiscourse), digital communication and intercultural rhetoric in English, Chinese and Spanish. The results of her research have been published in a book she has co-authored entitled Escribir y publicar en Enfermería. Del trabajo escrito universitario al artículo de investigación (2011) and several international journals such as Revista Signos, Revista Latino-Americana de Enfermagem, Scripta Manent or Ibérica, Journal of the European Association of Languages for Specific Purposes.
